Prague, February 14 – After the fantastic Opening Ceremony they attended on Sunday, EOC President Patrick Hickey and Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi, together with IOC President Jacques Rogge, met today in Prague Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas.

They were accompanied by IOC Member Jan Zelezny and NOC President Milan Jirasek.

The Olympic delegation congratulated the Czech government for the great support granted to the organizers of the Liberec European Youth Olympic Winter Festival, as well as for the enthusiasm of the Czech youth during the Opening Ceremony.

Today‘s meeting also allowed the parties to exchange views on topical issues related to sport.

On Sunday, the EOC Executive Committee members had held the first meeting of the year in Liberec.
