2018 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES – SWEDISH CHARLOTTE KALLA WINS THE FIRST GOLD IN PYEONGCHANG

At the end of the first weekend of competitions, Germany leads the medal ranking with 4 medals, 3 of them are gold, followed by the Netherlands, Norway, USA and Austria.
Charlotte Kalla (30) won the first Olympic gold medal in PyeongChang in the Skiathlon event. This year’s first Olympic title was presented by IOC President Thomas Bach at the Medals Plaza on Saturday night.
Charlotte Kalla is a Swedish Cross-Country Skier, champion at the 2010 Olympic Games in the women’s 10 km individual. She is also winner of 12 world medals.
