LITHUANIA – INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE “OLYMPISM FOR VALUES EDUCATION” DEADLINE COMING SOON

The International Training Course “OLYMPISM FOR VALUES EDUCATION” – one of the applications selected by the European Commission for EU co-financing under the Erasmus + Youth program – will be held in Druskininkai, spa town in southern Lithuania, from  3 to 11 November 2017.

This International Training Course is organized by the Olympic Committee of Lithuania  along Olympic and sports organisations from 8 European countries (Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal and Romania). The Course aims to provide young teachers and educators who have been developing activities in the field of Olympic Education with tools to face daily challenges Initiatives.

The course will adopt a non-formal methodology based on the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Values ​​Education Program (OVEP 2.0).

All teachers and educators from the 9 European countries involved, who are interested in the Olympic Movement and who have been carrying out activities in the field of Olympic Education may apply, particularly in the context of the Olympic Education Programs developed by the National Olympic Committees.

Applications may be submitted until 8 September. Selected participants will be informed on 15 September 2017.

The course will be taught in English and interested applicants from the nine countries involved will be able to apply through the following Application form .
