EOC – EU OFFICE MOVES TO NEW PREMISES – APPLICATIONS FOR INTERNSHIPS WELCOME

Categories: Misc.

05 October 2017

In the last week of September the EOC EU Office moved to new premises. The new building, situated at 71 Avenue de Cortenbergh, is only a few meters away from the old address.

With additional space and a great panorama on the Brussels rooftops, the spacious offices and meeting rooms enjoy natural light.

A new and larger meeting room equipped with high-tech appliances for meetings and conferences will allow the EOC EU Office, led by Director Folker Hellmund, to easily organise regular meetings and events for all its partners, as the true House of European Sport, representing the Olympic sports movement in Brussels.

The EOC EU Office also provides internships for a period of 3 to 6 months to university students and recent graduates. Interns will get an in-depth insight into EU sports policy, will contribute to daily and long-term tasks of the Office, and will thus contribute to promoting the interests of the organised sport movement in the EU.

Interns of the EOC EU Office can expect to attend sport-related events, conferences and meetings organised by the EU institutions and other stakeholders in Brussels. In addition, they will assist the EOC EU Office with the organisation of its own events and meetings.

The next application deadline is 15 October 2017 for the period February – July 2018. Potential applicants should send their CV and motivation letter to Office Manager Fruzsina Csepi (csepi@euoffice.eurolympic.org).
