While the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics have come to an end, the organization for the Minsk 2019 European Games is in full swing.

From 1 to 3 March 2018 the EOC Leadership and experts will be in Minsk to meet the MEGOC Leadership and heads of departments and discuss progress in the various functional areas for the European Games.

Sport Operations, Transport, Broadcast Operations, Games Services, Protocol, Ceremonies, Press Operations, Logistics, Venues, NOC services, Medical & Antidoping and Communications are the main topics that the CoCom Delegation will be addressing during the joint meetings.

The sessions will see the participation of EOC President Janez Kocijančič, EOC Vice President Niels Nygaard, EOC Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi, Coordination Commission Chair Spyros Capralos and other EOC CoCom members, as well as the EOC’s team of experts.

Two weeks ago, the Senior Consultant of the Directorate of the 2nd European Games Laszlo Vajda, a well-known expert with extensive experience in holding major sports events, visited Minsk for a working meeting. During his stay, Vajda dealt with a number of problematic issues, offering solutions and giving detailed advice on further actions in delivering the Games.

A recent piece of news is the announcement by the Directorate of the official ticket operator, Ticketpro company, which was also the official ticket agent for the 2014 World Hockey Championship, the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang.
