The EOC assigned to one student from Croatia, Ms Iris Spanjol, a scholarship to study the Master of Sport Administration (MSA) course at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) for the academic year 2018-2019, as the Association continues to provide opportunities for its NOCs to learn from international best practice.

It is the 8th year the MSA scholarship is offered by RIOU, for courtesy of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, to talented individuals within the NOC family.

This year the EOC had invited its NOCs to nominate any candidate with higher education qualifications who wanted to improve their sport knowledge and management skills before nominating the final recipient.

With the aim of providing NOCs with the highest possible service, recipients of the scholarship will receive world-class theoretical education combined with hands-on sports administration experience which they can then disseminate through their NOCs.
