The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine launched the traditional Olympic lesson in Ukraine on occasion of the Day of Knowledge on 2 September. This year’s event was dedicated to the forthcoming Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on on 6-18 October.

43 sports venues were available for thousands of happy people participating in the Olympic mission. Participants had the chance to enjoy several sport competitions, to win Olympic prizes, as well as to meet Ukraine Olympians and future YOG athletes.

Sergey Bubka, President of the NOC, was among the special guests of the event together with a series of Olympic medallists such as Vadim Gutzeit (fencing), Alexander Volkov (basketball), Natalia Dobrynska (heptathlon) Igor Radivilov (gymnastics), George Zantaraya (judo) Julia Prokopchuk (diving).
