Lesik the Baby Fox, the mascot of the 2nd European Games 2019, won the mascot contest at the 2019 LTEAM Winter Challenge 2019, which took place in Lithuania’s Druskininkai on 1-3 February.

The contest included competitions in several disciplines like downhill skiing, staking, winter football, dancing and winter volleyball. The Baby Fox took the lead from the very onset of the contest and keep the momentum high till the end.

“Lesik showed an outstanding performance!”, President of the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania Daina Gudzineviciute said. “We were very glad to be the first European country to welcome this charming baby fox”.

The LTEAM Winter Challenge, the country’s largest winter sports and entertainment festival, is organised by the National Olympic Committee of Lithuania, the Olympic Fund of Lithuania and the Vilnius Challenge Association.
