As in previous years, the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) has generously offered the EOC one full free scholarship for a high-level, intensive Master in Sports Administration (MSA) course for the academic year 2021-2022.

The NOCs have been asked to submit a candidate to the EOC Head Office for consideration by the deadline of 15 May 2021. The EOC will carry out the initial selection process and put forward a nomination to the RIOU.

The RIOU expects the course to be held in person in September 2021 provided that travel restrictions allow it. If not, the programme will be arranged in a combined learning mode (online and offline). The RIOU remains committed to providing visa support to its students as well as to following all required health protection measures on campus.

The aim of the MSA is training a new generation of sports managers with the right knowledge and skills to work professionally in any economic environment. The students will learn how to effectively manage sports venues, clubs, financial and information flows in sport, and how to build appropriate marketing strategies. They will also be trained in the legal aspects of sports and research methodology.
