The European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) Banská Bystrica 2022 Organising Committee has opened the application process to become a volunteer for the largest multi-sport event in the history of Slovakia from 24 to 30 July 2022.

The official announcement was made on 11 March, which marked 500 days before the start of the 16^th Summer EYOF.

With the slogan “Don’t miss the opportunity! Enjoy the atmosphere of a unique event,” the Organisers are looking for hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers who will contribute to the smooth running of the event.

“To all interested people of all age categories we offer a chance to spend an unforgettable summer in Banská Bystrica,” said Executive Director of EYOF 2022 Banská Bystrica Peter Hamaj. “Volunteers will have the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of a big multi-sport event, look behind the scenes and gain valuable experience. It will also be a space to make new friendships, to meet people worldwide and see future Olympic winners.”

Volunteers will be working at the sports venues, accommodation, press centers, while providing assistance to spectators during Games’ time.
