Turkish Olympic Committee mourns loss of its Vice President Türker Arslan

Türker Arslan, Deputy Vice President of the Turkish Olympic Committee (TOC), died at the age of 78 years on 4 May 2021.

Arslan was a Board Member and Vice President of TOC since 1998. Graduated from Galatasaray High School and Istanbul University Faculty of Law, he worked as a lawyer for many years, while also as editor-in-chief and sports writer in various media.

He also served as a Board Member of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and the Turkish Athletics Federation (TAF).

He was a member of the International Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS-TAS) between 2007-2019.

The EOC expresses its deepest simpathy to TOC and Arslan’s family.
