EOC President Spyros Capralos met with President of the European Aquatics Federation (LEN)  António José da Silva at the headquarters of the Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) in Athens, Greece on 2 April 2022.

The two Presidents discussed about the possible inclusion of aquatics in the European Games 2023, in particular artistic swimming and diving.

Attending the meeting were also the President of the Hellenic Swimming Federation and LEN Vice President Kyriakos Giannopoulos.

Silva informed President Capralos that a meeting with FINA President Husain Al-Mussallam, Poland’s Prime Minister and Minister of Sports as well as the President of the Polish Swimming Federation, is scheduled in Krakow, Poland on 14 April 2022. The meeting will be held on the occasion of the inauguration of a new swimming pool in the Polish city, which has all the infrastructure to host these competitions.
