A nomination for the 2022 Winter Piotr Nurowski “Best European Young Athlete” Prize follows another impressive season for Austria’s Victoria Oliver.

The young alpine skier won two gold medals in the girls’ parallel slalom and mixed team slalom and a bronze medal in the girls’ slalom at the Winter EYOF Vuokatti 2022.

“It was an amazing experience to represent my country at a multisport event, and I so happy to have won three medals!”

In a memorable season, Olivier also won silver and bronze medals at the FIS World Junior Championships 2022 in Canada.

After recently turning 18, the young star now has her eyes set on the senior circuit.

“I want to push myself to compete with the very best in the world. Especially after this season, I believe I can be one of the best in the world. To win the Piotr Nurowski would be a massive honour and give me an extra boost on my journey.”
