Angelina Topic is one of the five finalists for the 2022 Piotr Nurowski “Best European Young Athlete” Prize.
The 17-year-old athlete has exceled in 2022 setting a new World U18 record in the high-jump and national records at U18 & U20 in the pentathlon and senior level for the high jump. Her successes do not stop there.
Angelina’s biggest triumph in 2022 came at the European Championships in Munich where she won a bronze medal in the high jump.
“I would like to write a history in high jump and become one of the greatest ever. My dream is to set world records in each age category and to finalise it by winning a gold medal at Olympics.”
The Serbian athlete’s talent is clear to see and across high jump, long jump, pentathlon, and sprint distances she is consistently displaying outstanding results and has a very promising career ahead of her.
