The European Olympic Committees (EOC) has today launched the new Sport Europe platform, serving as a content hub powered by Atos for fans to follow European sport and forming part of a refreshed digital output.
Sport Europe will provide comprehensive coverage of all major European sporting events, including the European Games, European Youth Olympic Festivals (EYOFs) and the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE). This includes the latest news, exclusive content, historical data and updates on these events.
It is designed as a one-stop destination for fans, athletes and European Olympic stakeholders with its range of informative and engaging content supported by an extensive multimedia gallery featuring photos and videos.
Sport Europe can be accessed here, and will work in conjunction with the EOC’s main eurolympic.org website.
That has also undergone a revamp, giving it a more modern and visually-friendly look. It will continue to serve as a base for all institutional news, covering the EOC’s work all-year-round in spreading the Olympic values and inspiring sport and healthy lifestyles across Europe. This includes its support for the National Olympic Committees of Europe, work with European Federations, Government agencies and Organising Committees, and assistance of athletes and coaches.
Sport Europe’s launch and eurolympic.org’s revamp come at a timely moment ahead of a pipeline of major events which promise to keep Europe at the heart of global sport. There are just more than 100 days to go until the Winter EYOF Bakuriani 2025, where Europe’s most talented young athletes will star and enjoy their first experience of a multi-sport event. Many of those athletes will compete at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 in Italy.
Next year will also feature the Summer EYOF in Skopje, and many of the athletes who compete in North Macedonia’s capital will go on to compete at the European Games Istanbul 2027. The 4th edition of the European Games promises to elevate Europe’s premier multi-sport event to new heights, offering qualifying opportunities for the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 and serving as a celebration of the continent’s best athletes.
The GSSE Andorra 2025 also offers a unique and compelling opportunity for nine of Europe’s smaller countries by population to shine on the continental stage.
