Despite only turning 16 in March, Helen Kevric showcased her talent on the world stage at Paris 2024, reaching the all-around and uneven bars final in gymnastics.
A fourth-place finish in the uneven bars at the European Championships was a highlight, a competition where she also helped Germany reach the team final.
Kevric said: “My goal has always been to compete at the Olympic Games and Paris 2024 was so special. It was my first year competing at the senior level and I was able to compete alongside my role model Simone Biles.
“I can say it was the best experience of my life so far and it has only strengthened my motivation to fight for a medal at Los Angeles 2028.
“For me, gymnastics is the most beautiful sport and I am really happy and honoured that I was able to make it receive more attention.”
