September, the start to a particularly active
period for the Olympic Family of Europe.

There are in effect many rendezvous on the
EOC programme: the Athletes Assembly in
Moscow and 3rd Executive Committee
meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, in mid-
September, and above all the Olympic
Congress and121st IOC Session in
Copenhagen in early October. Lastly, the
General Assembly in Lisbon will renew its
Executive Committee and lay the foundations
to the EOCs programme for the next four
years.
