Rome, 22 April the EOC athletes commission chaired by canoe-kayak Olympic champion Antonio Rossi(ITA), today held its official annual meeting at the HQ of the Italian Olympic committee.

Taking advantage of the celebrations for the 2764th anniversary of the foundation of Rome, the members met just before Easter in order to prepare for the upcoming EOC meetings and the 2011 seminar in particular, which will take place in Portoroz (SLO) starting next 5 May.

The athletes discussed a number of topics, including the procedure for the presentation of the best young athletes award named after Piotr Nurowski, the EC member who died tragically last year, this years summer EYOF in Trabzon, and preparations for the athletes Forum, which will take place in Lecco (ITA) next 4 November.
