Tirana, 4^th July 4 – Olympic Solidarity periodically visits NOCs to learn more about their activities and so better target the assistance it provides, and it was within this context that a delegation from OS Lausanne accompanied by a representative of the continental office for Europe paid a two day visit to the Albanian capital for talks with the Albanian Olympic Committee.

From the 2^nd to the 4^th of July, Deputy OS Director Pamela Vipond, Gianluca De Angelis from the Continental Office in Rome and Nils Holmegaard from the IOC NOC department held meetings with Secretary General Stavri Bello and his small but highly motivated and dynamic team, the members of the Executive Committee and various committees, and also delegations from national federations, concluding their visit with a meeting with the Deputy Minister for sport.

The OS team reports that it was a very productive visit that allowed the Olympic Solidarity delegation to learn more about the many activities organized by the NOC.
