Utrecht, 19th July – with the Utrecht 2013 European Youth Olympic Festival about to draw to a close, EOC President Patrick Hickey has made it a point of paying a courtesy visit to the Organising Committee at their headquarters.

Patrick Hickey thanked them and its team for the immense amount of work invested in the Utrecht EYOF 2013, and made a point of thanking the many friendly and helpful volunteers, without whom the event could not have been as good as it was.

Utrecht  EYOF 2013 closes today, 19th July, ending with the traditional farewell party for the athletes and other participants. Then, Utrecht will return to its daily life, whilst the young athletes from across Europe will return to their homes, having lived new and exciting experiences and having made many new friends.
