ALL-UKRAINIAN OLYMPIC LESSON STARTS IN KIEV

Kiev, 19th September the Day of Physical Education and Sports saw the launch of Ukrainian Olympic Lesson, one of the largest sporting projects of the country, organized by the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Kiev City State Administration -.
“It has become a good tradition in September with the start of the school year on the Day of Physical Culture and Sports we give start to this unique project, which is the ninth consecutive year and will cover all our country and will visit every corner of it,” said Sergey Bubka, President of the NOC. “Last year more than 2.5 million people participated in Olympic lessons. And now on the main street of the country we represent more than 40 sport fields and 75 different sports. I congratulate all of you on the holiday and invite to a wonderful world of sport!”
The Minister of Youth and Sports Ravil Safiullin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Arthur Palatniy, Head of Kiev City State Administration Oleksandr Popov and His deputy Viktor Korzh also welcomed the audience.
A lot of people gathered together with the champions and Olympic medallists to take part in this sports festival.
Olympic champions, World and European medallists Olexiy Torokhtiy, Natalia Dobrynskaya, Yana Shemyakina, Valeriy Goncharov, Olena Kostevich, Anna Bessonova, Alexander Krykun, Anna Sorokina, Larysa Zaspa, Bohdan Bondarenko, Georgiy Zantaraya, Elbrus Tedeyev and many others were a part of this great event.
Autograph and photo session with athletes, master classes, numerous competitions, relays and contests gave the opportunity for everybody to show their abilities.
