THE ATHLETES OF EUROPE HEAD FOR CROATIA

Poreç, 3rd October all is ready at the little Croatian paradise, still bathed by the sun, for the 4th European Athletes’ Assembly and Forum, which will start tomorrow.
Invited by Croatian NOC President and EOC Executive Committee Member Zlatko Matesa, the NOC delegates and their athletes will spend a day and half discussing current issues of concern to the athletes, such as the dual career problem and the fight against doping.
EOC Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi will attend both the Assembly and Forum. And outgoing President Antonio Rossi (ITA) will be there to greet his colleagues, including the Chair of the IOC Athletes’ Commission, Claudia Bokel (GER).
An important moment will come on Saturday with the elections for the new Athletes Commission for 2013-2017.
