Tbilisi, August 7, 2014 – The first issue of the monthly Newsletter has been published this week on the official website of next year summer European Youth Olympic Festival.

The editorial, co-signed by Aleksi Akhvlediani, Chairman, EYOF Tbilisi 2015 OC and Leri Khabelov, President of the Georgian NOC, features the efforts of the whole team to deliver “a remarkable and pleasant experience” for every athlete and guest in one of the world’s most amazing cities – as they both stated.

This first issue focuses on Georgia and its capital city, structure and management, sports venues and village, recent events such as the Olympic Days celebrations and the first test event – European Athletics Team Championships Third League 2014. Details on key dates, media and sponsors are also on this first issue.

The 49 National Olympic Committees will receive monthly newsletters to update them on all the major news and events during the preparations for the Festival.
