Categories: Misc.

London, November 3, 2016

The EOC Athletes commission met in London last Monday 31st October, invited by their colleagues from the British Olympic Association.

The meeting took place at the BOA Headquarters in Charlotte Street, in Central London’s Fitzrovia, a lively district that the Sunday Times recently named as the best place to live in London.

Commission chair Jean-Michel Saive welcomed his colleagues Adam Pengilly, Mads Kruse Andersen, Mikko Ronkainen, and Maron Rodewald, as well as the Head of the EU EOC Office in Brussels Folker Hellmund, also invited to attend.

Among the various items on the agenda, participants also discussed an update of the Position Paper that the European Athletes’ representatives are preparing.

The Commission also addressed the future, as 2017 will be the year the new membership to the EOC Athletes commission is to be elected during the Athletes’ General Assembly.

After a full day’s work, the members of the EOC and of the BOA athletes’ commissions enjoyed a relaxed and friendly evening.
