IOC MARKETING SEMINAR HOSTED AT NOC OF SPAIN HQs

President Alejandro Blanco welcomed at the Spanish Olympic Committee’s headquarters more than 25 directors of marketing from different National Olympic Committees and prestigious international experts, who gathered in Madrid to attend the International Olympic Committee two-day seminar on Marketing.

The seminar was organized on11 October, by Secretary General of the Spanish NOC Victor Sanchez and his team and was conducted by Natascha Trittis, marketing manager of the IOC.

Among the topics that were addressed by delegates, a thorough analysis of all matters relating to the controversial Rule 40 of the Olympic Charter, the use of the athlete’s image during the Olympics, and national Olympic teams uniforms..

Among the attendees the NOCs highest marketing officers for Australia, United States, Russia, Italy, Canada, Brazil, Holland, China, France and Japan, as well as representatives from the Association of National Olympic committees (ANOC) and the Olympic Channel

Participants all had the opportunity to visit the new and spacious facilities that the Olympic Channel has in Madrid and from where they are carrying out the new organisation’s launch.
