SPAIN – OLYMPIC GAMES DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SEMINAR

A seminar entitled “The digital transformation of the Olympic Games: from Rio 2016 to Tokyo 2020” was the very first activity organised this year by the Spanish Olympic Committee together with ATOS, IT Olympic sponsor since 2001.

The event was hosted at the NOC Alfredo Goyeneche congress hall and was a special occasion to showcase the activities of ATOS and its contribution to the Olympics, also in view of the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Games.

Spanish NOC President Alejandro Blanco welcomed the 300 participants, who received reports from the Group Executive Vice President / Chief Commercial Officer – Olympics & Major Events of Atos Patick Adiba, two members of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Team, silver medallist in Rio 2016 Lourdes Mohedano and Artemi Gavezou, and the Director of Marketing for Bridgestone Spain Luis Miguel Alvarez, the company that made its local “première” as TOP Partner at this seminar.

The seminar, conducted by a renowned sports journalist from channel TVE, was closed by the Spanish Secretary of State for Sports José Ramón Lete. The event had an extraordinary success also on the Spanish social media, where it led the top news for several hours
