The Executive Committee of the Olympic Committee of Kosovo has unanimously elected Shasivar Haxhijaj as the NOC’s new Secretary General.

Put forward for the post by President Besim Hasani, Haxhijaj, 40, is a former adviser to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, and was First Vice-President for the NOC during the 2013-2016 quadrennial.
