Acting President Janez Kocijančič, who is expected in Malta on Wednesday to represent the EOC at the EU Sports Forum organised by the Maltese Rotating Presidency this week, stopped in Rome on Monday for a meeting with Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi and Treasurer Kikis Lazarides.

The EOC officials met at the EOC Headquarters located within the Italian Olympic Committee’s Olympic Park and addressed issues related to the European Association.

They were then welcomed to CONI by President Giovanni Malagò, with whom, among other topics, they discussed the possible hosting in Rome in April of a Flame Lighting Ceremony for the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Györ, Hungary, next July.
