Josep Antoni Guerra Álvarez is the new Secretary General of the Andorran NOC, and President Jaume Martì Mandicò has been confirmed in his position.

Last Thursday 25 the General Assembly of Andorran sport met in Andorra-la-Veilla, where participants elected the new Executive Board for the current four-year term as follows:

President – Jaume Martí Mandicó.

1st Vice President – Albert Coma Zamboni.

2nd Vice President  – Jordi Cerqueda Sierra.

Secretary General – Josep Antoni Guerra Álvarez.

Treasurer – Jordi Minguillon Capdevila.

Members – Francesc Garcia Garcia, Ferran Riu Minguella, Eva Rodríguez Machado, Joan Tomàs Roca, Lluís Torralba Massip i Jordi Verdaguer Ferré.

Mr. Guerra, who takes over from Manuel Fernandez Hermoso, was Chef de Mission at the inaugural European Games in Baku in 2015, as he himself stated a “very important event for the future of the sport”.
