Warsaw, 2nd November THE Polish NOC unanimously elected Andrzej Krasnicki President at a General Assembly held in the Polish capital on 28 October.
Last spring, he had been named President ad interim in his capacity as first Vice President, following Piotr Nurowskis tragic death in the air crash that cost the lives of the President of the Republic and a delegation of Polish personalities that was accompanying him to Russia.
The new President will hold the post through to the end of 2013, when Nurowskis term would have expired.
