The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine kicked off the celebrations of the European Week of Sport (EWoS) with the launch of the “#BeActive Olympic Lessons” on 14 September 2020.

Famous Ukrainian Olympians from various sports will be conducting live training sessions on their Instagram accounts.

“Despite the current difficulties and challenges, we are successfully transforming and implementing our Olympic programmes, Ukrainian NOC President and IOC Member Sergey Bubka said. “A lot of events in Ukraine are waiting for our sports supporters.”

Active followers of the NOC of Ukraine Facebook and Instagram official accounts also have a great opportunity to receive Olympic gifts by participating in online competitions and quizzes.

Since 2015, every year, from 23 to 30 September, the EWoS encourages European citizens to #BeActive by boosting physical and mental health.
