Rome, 9th November the EOC audit committee was in Rome HQ last Wednesday for a final inspection of the accounts in view of the upcoming Eilat meetings, now less than a month away.

Audit committee chairman Lino Farrugia Sacco (MLT) and his colleagues George Perisic (SRB) and Robert Toet (NED) stoically ignored the blue sky and bright sunshine that warmed the Italian capital and tackled their task with gusto together with the head of administration, Gianluca De Angelis.

The Audit committee acts as the Executive Committee’s watchdog, and its main purpose is to ensure that the European Association’s money is spent in the exclusive interest of its members.
