EOC DELEGATION ATTENDS ANOC AND OS MEETINGS IN MACAU

Macau (China), 9th November EOC president and ANOC senior vice president Patrick Hickey (IRL), leads a strong European delegation, including vice president Sasha Kozlowski (RUS), secretary general Raffaele Pagnozzi (ITA), elected EOC representatives Roger Talermo (FIN) and Vlade Divac (SRB), to China for the 57th ANOC Executive Council meeting that begins in Macau today, within the context of the 31st Olympic Council of Asia’s (OCA) general assembly.

Chaired by ANOC president Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al-Sabah, the Executive Board will tackle a hefty agenda, including the fight against illegal betting, and the revision of the ANOC statutes drafted by an ad hoc commission chaired by Michael Chambers (CAN), who is the head of the Juridical Commission, and which includes EOC legal expert Marc Theisen (LUX), who is also in Macau.

Whilst there, Patrick Hickey and Raffaele Pagnozzi will also attend the IOC Olympic Solidarity meeting chaired by Sheikh AL Sabah.
