Minsk 21 September 2017 – On the eve of the first Minsk 2019 Coordination Commission meeting, CoCom Chair Spyros Capralos yesterday led his team of experts at a meeting with their Belarusian counterparts.

At the meeting, held at the NOC headquarters, the technical experts from the EOC discussed a wide range of areas critical to the success of the Minsk 2019 European Games, including the sports programme, IT requirements, marketing, broadcasting and accommodation.

At the end of the meeting, Spyros Capralos stated: “We have kicked off on the right foot, the team at the Minsk 2019 Coordination Commission have shown they are on top of the issues they face, and they have started addressing them with professionalism, with passion and with competence, giving us confidence that they will make every effort to deliver another outstanding European Games.”

Today sees the start of the first Minsk 2019 Coordination Commission meeting, held at the NOC headquarters impressive hall of fame, which will continue to Friday and will include a site visit.
