Lausanne, February 17, 2016 – while in Lillehammer the next generation of Olympic stars are cheered by fans at the 2nd Winter Youth Olympic Games , in the Olympic capital, city bidding files from the 2024 Olympics are being submitted to the IOC.

Budapest, Los Angeles, Paris and Rome delegations are presenting today the details of their projects in front of the IOC- vision, concept and stategy.

The Evaluation Commission Working Group will then analyse documentation and provide a dashboard report to the IOC Executive Board next June.

The whole candidature process will end in September 2017 when the Lima IOC Session will elect the 2024 Host City.
