President Gian Primo Giardi and Secretary General Eros Bologna were re-elected unopposed at the NOC General Assembly held on 9th March in San Marino, the small state in the centre of the Italian Peninsula.

Three newly elected members – Maurizia Menga, Marco Tura and Paolo Valli – join reconfirmed Luciano Scarponi and Emanuele Vannucci on the Executive Committee elected for the 2017-2020 term. Christian Forcellini has been chosen as Vice President.

“A very special moment,” Giardi said in thanking everyone, adding, “With only 80 days to the Games of the Small States of Europe, we all wish this event will be a real success, unforgettable as our country deserves it”.

“ Sport is my life and I am at the service of all our Federations” Eros Bologna said reminding everyone his door will always be open.
