Rome 13 April – EOC president Patrick Hickey and secretary general Raffaele Pagnozzi welcomed Hungarian NOC president Zsolt Borkai and head of international relations Zsigmomd Nagy to the HQ of the European association.

This was Borkais first visit to Rome since taking over from Pal Schmitt, when he was elected president of the Hungarian republic.

The parties discussed various issues of concern to the Olympic movement, cooperation between NOCs and the role of the Hungarian NOC during the current Hungarian EU Presidency semester.

During their brief stay in Italy, the Hungarian delegates also visited the Italian Olympic Committees HQ and the sports facilities at the Foro Italico, the Italian capitals Olympic park.
