The 3^rd summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Buenos Aires will now be held from 6 to 18 October 2018, one week later than previously scheduled.

During its first meeting of the year in PyeongChang, the IOC Executive Board, among others things, agreed to the request to change the dates in order to optimise weekend days by including one additional weekend.

The EB also approved the proposed addition of Roller Speed as another event for both boys and girls and the qualification system for Roller Sports.

Young athletes from 206 countries are expected in Argentina for the Buenos Aires 2018 summer YOG –  #WeAllWin – where they will compete in 31 sports and disciplines.
