Rome, 14th September – The EOC Marketing and Communication commission today held its annual meeting at the Italian Olympic Committee’s headquarters in Rome, chaired by its leader Janez Kocijancic (SLO).
In his dual capacity as secretary general of both CONI and the EOC, Raffaele Pagnozzi attended the opening of the meeting, which mainly focused on the feasibility of a European Games.
Within the context of his regular visits to European NOCs, EOC president Patrick Hickey also attended this meeting, at which the members got an update on the project.
The commission also continued with its assessment of marketing methods across Europe, and were given a presentation on marketing strategies prepared by the NOC of Slovenia.
President Kocijancic will give his colleagues of the EOC Executive Committee a report on the discussions held at their next and third meeting of the year, in Andorra next 29th September.
