The deadline to submit a candidate for the 4th Winter Piotr Nurowski “Best Young European Athlete” award has been extended to 27 March 2019.
After collecting applications, the EOC will call the 50 NOCs to select from the longlist five candidates, who will be voted at the EOC Seminar in Vienna, Austria on 18 May.
The final ranking and the name of the winner will be then revealed at the Gala evening. All the finalists are awarded with a financial support for training and educational purposes. The winning athlete receives an amount of €15,000, while the second- and third-place finishers secure €8,000 and €5,000 respectively. The fourth and fifth place athletes, meanwhile, both receive €3,000.
