The 50 NOCs of Europe have time until the 9^th September to nominate their preferred candidates for the 9^th Summer Piotr Nurowski “Best Young European Athlete” award.

After collecting applications, the EOC will ask the ENOCs to select five athletes from the longlist. The 5 finalists will be then invited to the EOC General Assembly on 25-26 October in Warsaw, where the elections will be held.

The final ranking and the name of the winner will be then revealed at the Gala evening on 26 October. All the finalists will be awarded with a financial support for training and educational purposes. The winning athlete receives an amount of €15,000, while the second- and third-place finishers secure €8,000 and €5,000 respectively. The fourth and fifth place athletes, meanwhile, both receive €3,000.
