The countdown clock to the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 will reach 50 days next week, and to mark the occasion, the European Olympic Committees (EOC) and the Minsk 2019 Organising Committee will hold the “Flame of Peace Lighting Ceremony” at the historic Ara Pacis in Rome on 3 May starting at 19:00 CET.

In advance of the ceremony, there will be a live-streamed press conference on the EOC YouTube channel starting at 18:00 CET, where EOC President Janez Kocijančič will be joined by Belarusian Minster of Sport and Tourism Sergey Kovalchuk and other dignitaries linked to the event.
