The countdown clock to the Baku 2019 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) will reach 100 days to go on 12 April, and to mark the occasion, the European Olympic Committees (EOC) and the Baku 2019 Organising Committee will hold a “Shine Ceremony” at the historic Ara Pacis in Rome starting at 18:30 CET.
In advance of the ceremony, there will be a live-streamed press conference on the EOC YouTube channel starting at 17:30, where EOC President Janez Kocijančič will be joined by Minister of Youth & Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov and other dignitaries linked to the event. In a first for the EOC, members of the press are invited to send in any questions they may have in advance by writing to eocmedia@eurolympic.org no later than Wednesday, 11 April.
