EOC President Patrick Hickey and Secretary General Raffaele Pagnozzi are following with great concern the media reports about the dreadful earthquake that has hit China.
They extended the support of the European Olympic Committees and the entire European Olympic Movement to the President of the Chinese Olympic Committee Mr Liu Peng and to the President of the BOCOG (Organising Committee for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games), Mr Liu Qi and their staffs, expressing their full sympathy to the entire Chine population.
