ONGOING ELECTIONS AT MEMBER NOCS

Rome, 15th November elective assemblies continue to take place across Europe, and today we congratulate four more NOCs, those of Estonia, Cyprus, Serbia and Croatia, who have just elected their leaders for the next quadrennial.
ESTONIA the NOC has just elected a new president, Neinar Seli (photo), who replaces Mart Siimann. Seli, aged 53, is a politician who is a member of the Estonian reformist party, and one of the country’s most successful businessmen.
CYPRUS the NOC informs us that Ouranios Ioannides was re-elected president at a general assembly held in Nicosia last 2nd October, whilst Charalambos Lottas continues as secretary general.
SERBIA the general assembly held in Belgrade last 7th November has re-elected Vlade Divac president and confirmed Djordje Visacki secretary general.
CROATIA – president Zlatko Matesa was elected for a third mandate at a general assembly held in Zagreb two days ago. Josip COP continues to be secretary general.
