EOC President Patrick Hickey is today in Tbilisi, at the National Olympic Committee of Georgia to celebrate the NOC’s 25thAnniversary with the IOC President, Thomas Bach, and an IOC delegation along with 14 European NOC’s. They met with the Prime Minister of Georgia Mr Irakli Garibashvili and President Giorgi Margvelashvili and discussed the infrastructure for the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in 2015.

They participated in the official inauguration of the monumental sculpture “Ode to Georgian Olympians”, which represents all Olympic Champions and medal winners of Georgia, and takes pride of place in front of the NOC Headquarters.
