The Spanish Olympic Committee headquarters welcomed on Wednesday the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) Commission for its meeting of the year

Secretary General of the Spanish NOC Victor Sanchez, chair of the Commission, welcomed his colleagues, prominent leaders from different European NOCs, and EYOF Manager Katerina Nycova.

The participants addressed the organisation of the forthcoming events – 2017 Winter EYOF in Erzurum (TUR) and Summer EYOF in Györ (HUN), as well as current items related to the celebrations for the 25th EYOF anniversary planned in Minsk during the EOC General Assembly next October.

The European Youth Olympic Festival is a sports event for European athletes aged between 14 and 18 years. A summer and a winter edition are held on odd years. The European Youth Olympic Festival is run by the European Olympic Committees under the umbrella of the International Olympic Committee.
