The brand new EOC website is the first of many changes that hail the year in our Olympic world. A small change, while more important ones are taking place in all sorts of fields, first of all in politics, and World and European organisations.

As Malta takes over the rotating European Presidency from Slovakia until next July, the European NOCs are looking forward to the Winter EYOF in Erzurum next month, and then the summer one in Gyor. Meantime preparations for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics are accelerating, and of course a lot of work will now focus on the Minsk 2019 2nd European Games.

2017 will see the renewal of EOC Executive Committee, as well as one of the three 2024 candidate cities becoming official Olympic Games host city.

There’s much work ahead, and many hopes. Good luck to one and all.
